another ploy to pass on yet another LSU player in next year's draft?
I'm sorry I just cannot stand for this. Jamal Adams will likely be a All American and sure-fire 1R pick. Couple the Saints' recent wows in the secondary (and D in general) with the upcoming below .500 season everyone is predicting and you'd think they'd have the perfect opportunity to get a good player. Instead, we go after a crafty and salty veteran like Harper who's crimson colored resume ensures he's bound to get better in coverage and he'll stick around for more than just this one year.
If you are part of team leadership, what are you thinking with a move like this? Seems to me like you are not letting future players get a fair shake. Maybe I'm missing something here ...

In all honesty, there is no need to worry, we brought Harper in for Veteran presence to help along Eddie Jackson when we draft him from Bama after his senior season.

I spotted SP at Whole Foods on Mag last night and, not unlike many uptown Nola residents, he was sporting Bama gear whilst perusing the isles with the former Ms West Virgina.
Would not be surprised to see Jackson and Sunseri in our defensive backfield next year.
