HBO GO vs HBO NOW ??

What is the difference between these two services. I watch GOT on HBO GO.
By the way, it is weird that I only pay for HBO during GOT. I cant seem to find any other really good series I like.

HBO go comes free with your HBO subscription through your cable company.
HBO now is a standalone product available for purchase monthly to be used on streaming devices.
Basically if your a cord cutter and want to watch HBO (assuming you don't have a friends HBO go account to use) you sign up for HBO now

All I know is that I'd like for FX to have a stream service some day.

I have the FXNOW app on my Apple TV, but I have yet to be able to watch an actual episode of a show that I watch. It's all behind the scenes or the making of or interviews with the actors.

HBO NOW is for people that don't have a friend with an HBO subscription that they can bum off of.

They have them, they just come out a week after they air for On Demand. But you can watch all of the FX channels live and catch them when they come on.
At worst, you have to wait a week.
