From the FWIW file
On the Cowherd Show, Dinardo just said he still thinks Miles could still end up at Michigan.

Side note, he also owns a DeAngelo's franchise in Blomington, IN.

He also thought Lou Tepper was a good choice for DC.

I still say Lou Tepper was not his worst coordinator. Bob McConnel got fired from Parkview Baptist.

I remember one game the announcers were talking about LSU's offense and the camera's showed McConnel in the press box. There was Bob, middle of the 3rd quarter, tight game - No Headset. He was just watching like a spectator.
Tepper may have been a horrible DC, but i'll say this - he was a decent recruiter. Trev Faulk, Bradie James and others came to LSU because of him.

Tell Dinardo, that Lou Tepper would make an excellent sous-chef at DeAngelos in Bloomington.

who's this dinardo guy

Sure...Miles could end up going to Michigan.
Dinardo could have hired someone other than Lou Tepper to go to the prom with.
He could've kept the enormous Louisiana high schol talent in-state.
He could've called a Cecil Collins rush up the middle of that Auburn D to secure a win.
Lots of things could happen. But as Dinardo proved time and time again, lots of things don't.

Who knows he may be right? I mean, in 3 or 4 years from now when they are looking for a new coach again. Never say Never

Wasn't Dinardo substitute teaching in Baton Rouge at one point? Part of his, "i'm an educator first," spin on being fired as football coach.

Who was the last LSU coach not to win the SEC
Posted on 12/6/07 at 1:16 pm to Lithium
If they dont have a coach in about a two weeks I will start to get concerned.

Outright or with at least a divisional title?
DiNardo got several shares of the West title.
Curley was never even close to THAT, let alone a full SEC title.

If we don't hire a D-coordinator in about 2 weeks, I might get concerned as well.

I don't think you can hire a DC while there is still another game to be played.
I'd be perfectly happy waiting until after the bowl games, unless one of the better DC's come available. Should Miles sign the amendment tomorrow, there won't be any reason to worry about him leaving.
