Well we don't know if he has even taken a vow in the show. I think we may get a preview of him in action against some rabble this week as a hype preview.

She has no need to turn to Jaime for protection.

Are we to believe that, although he has taken of vow of silence and devotion to the Seven, this vow does not prevent him from being a champion of the faith in a trial by combat?
It's like his whole life has brought him to this moment, to face what was his brother in a battle to the death.

There would be rioting and mayhem in real life if HBO did this. The flaming sword is a lord of flame kind of thing. Sandor would be representing the faith, which a an entirely different religion than the lord of flame

I went full CKD there. I got my religions mixed up

You better find a weirwood to repent in front of quick.

This makes no sense as in the books it is clear "The Hound" is dead and that Sandor Clegane is "reborn" in the militant faith of The Seven.
There is zero chance, in my mind, of Cersei and Qyburn's creation fighting against her interests.
It may not make a ton of sense but I wouldn't say no sense.
To me it makes less sense that the Hound would be a true convert to the faith and only willing to do the faiths bidding. That makes the Cleganebowl lose a little bit of its luster.
And yes I doubt Robert Strong goes against Cersei, but it was just a thought based on the HS now basically in control of Tommen and the kingsguard

My point was that it would give her cause to write Jaime a letter for help when Ser Strong goes down.
Not saying it will happen. I also think they are setting it up nicely for LSH reveal at the end of the season with Brienne and Jaime headed to the Riverlands.
Again, not saying it will happen, just my show crackpots for this season.

The only season he wasn't in was last season.

My bad (Damn, Arya has only been in Braavos for 1 season?) So for 16 episodes, there has been 1 mention of the hound then he is "resurrected"?

out, it will be terrible writing. There have been almost no references to the hound or anything for several seasons, and then out of nowhere he just shows up? That would be terrible (although cool to see Clegane Bowl). However, with the way they have explicitly stated that the Mountain was revived/repaired(/improved?) by Qyburn, I wouldn't be surprised if he just showed up.
False. They've made numerous references to him in Aryas storyline

Hasn't the trailer for Season 6 shown the Mountain fricking up sparrows?
Posted on 6/1/16 at 2:32 pm to wildtigercat93
One thing is for sure. If Sandor has shaved his head like the other sparrows, he's going to be pretty yarpy looking. I expect the memes to come flying out of Reddit and elsewhere. Yarp.

Son of a bitch. I really need to start rewatching the entire season.

There's been more than that. His name has been dropped multiple times in Arya's storyline, especially when she's being whacked with a stick by the Waif over her "list". I'm pretty sure there was also mention in Sansa's storyline as well.
