OT Runners, what unexpected music choice goes well with long runs?

Matisyahu's live stuff is pretty good. High energy, thoughtful lyrics, plus how often do you hear a Hassidic Jew flow like that? (not sure if that's appropriate, but I'm sticking to it)
Any pre-1974 Grateful Dead show is a go to for me as well, though I'm not sure that qualifies as "unexpected."

For some weird reason shrieking women vocals like flyleaf and Paramore make me want to run far...
Massive Attack's Collection (hits album) really sets my mood in a place it needs to be.

I am always making running playlists. These are some of my favorite running songs (FYI I don't run very fast):
Color Me Impreased -Replacements
Hold My Life """
Dirty Little Secret - All Anerican Rejects
Could You Be the One - Husker Du
Hey Ya- outcast
Suspicious Minds (live from fromHawaii) Elvis
Proud Mary -Ike and Tina (this is the perfect first song bc of the slow start - conducive to stretching or warming up
Everlong - Foo Fighters
I Need You - T McCoy
Baby I'm a Star - Prince

I usually don't run with music but I'd treat long runs the same way I do studying. I put on Gramatik radio because I don't want to know how long I've been doing it. Check it out, it's like funky jazz edm stuff

Bob Marley. The consistent beat keeps me on pace.

I've found reggae to be surprisingly good for long runs.

I do not listen to music when I run. I like to hear the outside.

I have very open-minded music taste.
At first I was like wtf, but listened to a bit and like Hmm. Watching a movie right now but will check it out later. That Sunshine song may have promise.
I had similar thoughts on Gotan, and that turned out to be some cool shite.
