So the wife has been telling me for about a week, don't make plans next Thursday. She's planned on getting her windshield replaced and needed me to take her and drop her off. I got an e-mail at 4:30 pm from a client yesterday, needing me to come take a look at some work today.

I get home, she says you have to wake up early and take me to the glass place, and I say no I'm sorry; I have to go look at a job in Arkansas tomorrow. She gets pissed. Says "No, you're not. You have to take me in the morning." I fire back with, " you see this nice house in this nice neighborhood? If you want to keep having these things, you'll understand that I have to work and that it comes first." She and I say a number of frick you's and I end up in the guest bedroom. Am I in the wrong?

TLDR: Wife got pissed cause I had to work instead of take her to get her windshield changed.

Safelite will come out where ever and replace it. They can do it in the parking lot of her job if need be. No need to actually go to a shop to get it done.

People come to you to fix your windshield

Your wife is dumb for not knowing that.

She'll probably end up fricking the guy who replaces it though

You must not be married for long if you don't know this answer.

But seriously, she doesn't understand that your job needs to come first?

Yes, for tolerating that foolishness from her.

She can get her stupid windshield replaced anytime and most women that understand how the world works understand that revenue is more important than expense.

You need to straighten her out.

Work frequently has priority, but you probably should have given her the heads up on the requirement when you realized it. I forget shite, too. This morning, maybe an apology and calling a cab or Uber could have kept the situation from escalating.

It's $30 more for them to come to you. Pay the $30 for peace of mine and no hassles, rides, blah blah blah.........

You just put work before your wife.

You need to change up your priorities

*you don't have to understand. It's important to her so should be important to you

Do yall not communicate during the day? Why did you not bring it up until she reminded you that you were going to bring her?
