"Always" is a very short-term way of looking at these clubs. The last couple of seasons have been quite poor, but when you look at the last decade or so they have consistently been near the top and in the European places.

Just not sure where it went wrong for some of these name sides.

Meh. I'll survive. I support the best team in the Premier League, according to countless managers.

League leaders in goals for and against. It's been a great year, and Arsenal will finish below us. Next year, we should be one of the league favorites and back in Champions League.

That's going to look great in a trophy case.

Sports are about exceeding expectations, and nobody in this thread thought Spurs would finish 2nd in the league. Next year, exceeding expectations would mean trophies.

I'd hardly call being in the Champions League a moral victory.

you think they'll just put in an article with quotes about being the best or will they draw a picture themselves?

be careful. if that starts aresenal will start just using pictures of their players' fabulous hair to stock their trophy case so they can continue to say "mind the gap" to spurs fans. tottenham may open up pandora's box
