I like to think of life as being like virginity. You can only really lose it once. You don't actually come back from death, if you do, you weren't really dead. Besides, what most people claim to see that is consistent with their personal religious beliefs is usually actually inconsistent with the dogma of their claimed religion.

Not really. But when other people have died usually someone is sad and you either become ash or worm food.

What's the other possibility? other than some fictional accounts. Everyone that has died has remained dead. Your brain will stop functioning so it is not like you will just be dreaming until you decompose.

People who are Christians never die. We just change. What you believe doesn't change the Truth. We are spirituals beings living in a carnal body. If God doesn't exist, there is nothing right or wrong. More people are losing their faith. That is why immoral things are prospering. The Lord spoke of the times that we are now in. I am very excited about the future. But at the same time, I am sad for the people who are blind and lost.

you do realize over half the world are not Christians rt?

So even if yall are rt, the rest of us will have plenty of company.

We will end up just like any other living organism. You become food for the earth.

Same thing that happens to every plant and animal that dies. Just because we have a bigger brain doesnt mean we get special treatment. People are able to dream up things like seeing their dead relatives and everything is all wonderful. Animals and plants dont get to do that but the end result is exactly the same.

BS. If it was the Truth there wouldnt be more than 2000 religions with thousands of different gods. If you are excited about dying you can get there in a hurry.

We will all die unless the rapture happens in our lifetime. But we will all change. If you don't believe in God, that is your choice. A very bad choice, but it is your free will. Your grandparents and great grandparents will be disappointed. They believed.

why do you need a supernatural being to tell you what's the right thing to do? Just be kind, be nice, do the right thing.

People have been saying this for generations, it's always doom & gloom to bolster the ranks

dont be. People are doing OK

Keep waiting on the rapture. God and free will cant co-exist. Its impossible. My family was taught to believe just like you and I were. If your parents were Muslim, Hindu, or Hopi, you wouldnt have the same beliefs so chalk up your beliefs to being in the right place.

I'm an atheist, but I imagine that if I die and there's a heaven, it can't be much different than the life I'm living now.

Yeah I think it depends on how you die. Slowly losing consciousness, you might experience that. Get your head blown to shreds and I doubt you will have a very vivid experience as your brain is dissipated.

Become old, forgetful, and have worsening dementia, you will just go into a comotose state

There are so many athiest on here that it is quite sad and actually a bit of a shock being as this is a website based out of the Bible Belt.

Numerous people have died and come back to life. I think almost every one of them saw a light that they were going towards but they came back to life because they didn't go all the way to the light. It is thought that the light is heaven. I'm so thankful to be a Christian. We as Christians do not fear death.

You should get out more. Im sure tribes in the Amazon that have never heard of your Christian faith much less your god, are kicking themselves in the arse for being born in the wrong place.

Never really thought about it for myself. But I am hoping that I will go to heaven. But it's a question nobody can answer.
