No thanks, I say we just let Craig Steltz call the plays on the field.

Maybe he'll send Chad Jones on a few more blitzes than Pelini.

I am gonna stay out of this one, but he did help the team make it that far. He is part of the reason the D is 3rd in the country. If Osborne said he could, why would you not want him too?

I saw an interview with Miles on Espn News. Said that Pelini may coach the game. Thanks but no thanks. Like Lou Holtz said, and I don't agree with him ever, but if he wins or loses, who cares, he has a job waiting for him in Nebraska. I would tell Pelini that I appreciate all you have done, but it is time to move on. It is business and not personal.

The very same reason Osborne shouldn't want him to. He is the Head Coach at Nebraska now, not the DC at LSU.

And, for what its worth, I would argue that the two losses were on his shoulders moreso than any of the wins, specifically his unwillingness to pressure Woodson during the UK game.

He is also part of the reason we had to sweat it out this weekend.

I am glad that we had Bo for the time that we have had him, but he needs to focus on his new job. I do wish him luck and think he has done an outstanding job this year with all the injuries. He probably had to coach more this year with the players getting hurt like they were than he had to last year. Good luck Bo. You will always be a Tiger.

Bad idea - Bo needs to get to work on the Nebraska club and recruiting.

Nebraska's D needs serious attention.

I think it would be a detriment to Nebraska. Hell, if we'd just hired a new coach I'd want him to be on the ground and on the job as soon as possible. There's recruiting, hiring coaches, etc. The once proud Nebraska team has fallen on hard times and I'd think you would want a coach working as soon as possible.

A lot of LSU fans are dissapointed in the way the LSU defense has performed under Pelini the last few weeks. Overall I think he's been a good D.C. but has had inconsistencies at times.

I think the old "you can't serve two masters" line from the Bible might sum it up best. I wouldn't necessarily mind if they kept Pelini's name "on the roster" so he could claim part of the MNC game (and hopefully Victory!) but he's a Cornhusker now and he should give his attention to that.

When I see this:

Added Tiger safety Craig Steltz: “I hope we get the chance to go to battle with him one more time.”

I say why the hell not - if both schools are fine with it.

Silly comment devoid of any real understanding. You can't blame the D coordinator every time something happens. I suppose its also his fault we have injuries on defense as well.

exactly...no players are ever going to criticize their coach. Hell even franchione's players backed him up. He's been a good DC, but now as his mind will be elsewhere, and you cant argue that it wont, he needs to go

I thought BP did an alright job, but there's no way he can coach the NC game. He's got a lot of work to do at Nebraska (no offense, husker fans) and needs to get going.

I'll say this - he's walking into a pretty good situation. The Nebraska offense is pretty stacked, and the defense has talent. BP might get Nebraska 8-10 wins in that weak arse B-12 North.
