re: Bo "Might" Coach The NC Game

Bad idea - Bo needs to get to work on the Nebraska club and recruiting.

Nebraska's D needs serious attention.

Holy shiite!!! Les is gone.

Said he was gonna coach LSU next year.

Knew he would win the SECCG and play on Jan 1 or Jan 8.

And that's it. He's coached here next year.

do you know anything about Carr and Miles? Miles is Carr's LAST pick. he does NOT want Miles. Carr is not pulling any screwjob on LSU whatsoever. your implication is actually funny. he hates Miles.

Oh I know - my post was really pointing fun at our catastrophe syndrome fan base that thinks any ommission of good lsu news or slight mention of bad lsu news is proof the world is out to get us.

did you not see his press conference? he quit when he did FOR the program

Sir, with all due respect, you have only 2 days and 12 posts worth of experienced rantardship here in La.

ANYTHING Carr did was designed specifically to put the maximum screws to LSU.

Just wait till he replaces Holtz on ESPN and has a 4 hour daily audience to disrespect us to the nation.

Maybe I just read the rant too much.

That'll do it!

But I know a lot of LSU faithful don't care for him.

Are you out of your mind?
I would agree to a point, but I wouldn't put it way out there on the scale of classless stuff to do.

Obviously Miles is not a threat to go anywhere but Michigan, so waiting until Sunday to request permission would have been best.

But in today's college football world, so many things can get so out of hand quickly, waiting seems to allow too much room for rampant BS speculation that could damage a potential relationship.

Not enough to lose any sleep over.

and DBG can confirm that I named my player in a private email to him.

So you fricked your buddy... nice relationship skillz, bro.
Wow, just wow. So, let's say the "Miles told the team" rumor is true. Follow this:

1- OSU spanked and embarrassed in MNC game, Jan 2007.
2- MI's Carr retires, need new coach.
3- MI embarrassed by this year's performance.
4- OSU on the bubble of MNC for 2008 game, no games left to play.
5- MI can wait till Dec 2 for Coach or not.
6- MI starts the process with Miles - behind the scenes - pressures for short time for decision.
7- MI likely gets Miles off track for Arky
8- LSU loses to Arky, OSU 1 step out of MNC
9- Mizzou loses (highly likely), OSU in MNC game
10- OSU in MNC vs. BEATABLE WVU.

Does MI help out a conference brother by stirring the pot and creating a better chance for them to make the MNC - saving grace for Big 10 since it SUXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX this year?

It's all about the timing, bro.

???

re: Saban

mbr, I have already handled Saban's buyout personally. That point is mute and he is free to negotiate terms with the Shaw people.

Can Crowton work for Saban?

Posted by UnMeauxjeaux on 11/29/07 at 6:21 am
Or, for that matter, Spurrier even?

Outside of 7 or 8 plays this year where LSU tried to get too "cute", this LSU offense has been very impressive in it's game plan, scheme and results.

Take away the many, many drops and the many, many penalties and this offense was on fire. So, there was some focus and execution issues, but for a first year in the scheme, not bad.

So, Crowton MUST stay.

Given that, if Miles leaves, who keeps Crowton?
BTW, I will be traveling to campus at the Univ of Iowa this weekend.

Anyone want me to perform some lobbying with Ferentz? Stay? Go? Oh the humanity!
So what back room are we heading to Friday?
