I would agree to a point, but I wouldn't put it way out there on the scale of classless stuff to do.

Obviously Miles is not a threat to go anywhere but Michigan, so waiting until Sunday to request permission would have been best.

But in today's college football world, so many things can get so out of hand quickly, waiting seems to allow too much room for rampant BS speculation that could damage a potential relationship.

5- MI can wait till Dec 2 for Coach or not.
6- MI starts the process with Miles - behind the scenes - pressures for short time for decision.
7- MI likely gets Miles off track for Arky
8- LSU loses to Arky, OSU 1 step out of MNC
9- Mizzou loses (highly likely), OSU in MNC game
10- OSU in MNC vs. BEATABLE WVU.

Does MI help out a conference brother by stirring the pot and creating a better chance for them to make the MNC - saving grace for Big 10 since it SUXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX this year?
