There was a thread on r/NBA the other day about the Warriors' illegal screens. Someone brought up the point that every team does it which is true but also that it helps the Warriors a ton to get open looks at 3. It's a decent point. It can make a great 3 point shooting team deadly when a bunch of moving/illegal screens are being set.

Who cares? NBA is more professional wrestling than an actual sport.

It is like how many people on tRant bitch about Bama holding all the time. It is something every team does, but due to end product people notice it more and bitch about more.
Moving screens are a lot more noticeable when the guy coming off of one is Steph or Klay.
No one cares that the way the Grizzlies run their offense usually leads to Marc Gasol setting an illegal screen on every possession because our offense is more often then not hot garbage.

Pels needed just one more stop or one more basket to win game 3 against GS last year. The shite bogut got away with in the last 4 minutes of that game was absurd. Clear outs all over the fricking place. Ryan Anderson would be in perfect position to secure a rebound and bogut would just rip him out of the way from behind with no call. Happened like 4 times in the last 4 minutes and 2 were on back to back possessions.
And Dwight was getting pushed in the back all night tonight on rebounds and it was never called.
Warriors are a dirty arse team and the refs allow it.

I will agree that Dwight is getting shafted by the refs in this series.

Draymond Green will be ugly as shite when he turns 50.

Looks like they were both jockeying for meaningless positioning and Green told Beasley to GTFO. Much ado about nothing.
As for the illegal screen business, when I was watching the first game of the Cavs-Piston series it seemed like every single screen Kevin Love set in the first quarter was illegal, so singling out the Warriors for it is just silly. I'd rather they set moving screens than have players flop all over the place like Soccer sissies.

Clearly, you haven't seen Draymond's other specialty. The pick and flop.

The rules of basketball don't apply to Green for whatever reason.
Posted on 4/22/16 at 12:55 am to JohnnyKilroy
Yeah, Dwight is getting a raw deal.

Somebody really needs to make a video compilation of every dirty play he has ever gotten away with. It would look like a flagrant foul highlight reel without the whistles.

Looked like he was trying to commit an off-the-ball foul and save that 1 second of game time.

That's a good analogy. But I think Bama's missed holds are more frequent and more egregious than other teams'.
ETA: Then again, maybe the Warriors' moving screens are more frequent too.

I actually used to like Draymond... Until he intentionally hit Mike Conely in the face last year in the playoffs. Conley had just gotten back from surgery to repair pretty much the entire left side of his face and was wearing a mask. That's when I decided to hate Draymond.
Good player and all that, but just don't like him.
