I hope the WR coach McCarthy. Easily the most mistake prone group on the team.

Others... Mallory? Stud as OC?
I don't think any would go before the NC but anything is possible.

Peveto has got to top the list as asst coaches that needs to go.

Our special teams were puke this year, especially in kick coverage.

Linebacker play was adequate at best - Beckwith and Highsmith to a degree were stars at times, but as a unit, just OK

I would have to give that honor to the offensive line.

I BET YOUR ASSES WEREN'T COMPLAINING WHEN BDP CALLED THAT FAKE PUNT YESTERDAY THAT LED TO A SCORE WHICH ENDED UP HELPING US GET TO THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GAME.

SO, SHUT THE F*** UP AND BE HAPPY, WE GOT WHAT WE WANTED.

BDP IS A GOOD MAN WHO WORKS HIS arse OFF.

he's a dipshit and needs to go.

Plus, Miles makes the final decision on fake punts and such.

Our special teams reek, starting with the "shield protection" on punts. And coverage is rotten.

I will agree with tigerfan14. Coach Pev is a great coach who works extremely hard. He is also a great recruiter for LSU and anyone else he works for. People need to get off his back. Players have to make plays.

This also goes for other coaches besides Coach Pev. You think when a receiver drops a pass that the receiver coach doesn't work on catching during practice? Give me a break. I hope Coach Pev stays at LSU.

LOL his a dip shite? Come on my friend. He is a great coach. He is straight forward no bullshite kinda guy. Says something when you have the a defense that has held teams to under 300yrd a game and has had a top 5 defense since coming to LSU.

You watch what happens to NE now that he is head coach. Got a feeling that next year you will see a whole new team. I don't think T.O would have hired him here if he didn't like how he coaches. T.O said he was hired because he is good at what he does.

Special teams was pretty bad this year, but they were really good the last two games.

I have to say, McCarthy has not done a good job this year. I know the WR are young and Early was hurt, but the wideouts as a groub seemed to underachieve this year.

I hope we keep Lane, and think we do b/c Miles was the guy who brought in Lane as I understand it.

I like what I've heard about Stud so far. Stewart has killed this line and I don't like bashing kids, but he should sit himself and say coach I'm hurting the team. Sorry.

You really think for one sec. Bo is going to hire off the LSU staff? Come on... NEBRASKA ROOTS... There going to start hiring ex Huskers to couch. Just like they used to do. Plus they are talking about keeping most of the offense staff so will see but I think LSU is safe..

surprise, surprise, you have a personal relationship with BDP and you come running to his defense.

Enjoy your gay love affair, meanwhile, LSU needs to look at making a change at Spec Teams coach

LSU needs to hire a Special Teams Coach. A D guy that loves STs.

Punting has been fine this year. Punt coverage has been adequate at best (gave up a score against Bama). Place kicking has been a pleasant surprise, particularly PATs, where there hasn't even been a question on one. Kicking off an KO coverage has really been a weak point for the team.

For that matter, whoever coaches tackling needs a refresher himself. A team that is as good as we are on defense, needs to finish more plays with a first guy, open field break down and tackle.

These are minor points for improvement for a team that's GOING TO THE BIG GAME, BABY!

I hope none leave.

WR, guess no one noticed D. Byrds transformation into one of the better Wr on the team. This is his first year in the SEC.
Lafell, a guy that some would have written off a few games ago. He looks to have gotten his confidence back, that has to do with coaching.

As for BDP, he has the thankless jobs, LB's and Special Teams. LB's Darry is 4th on the team in tackles (His INt sure paid off well last night). Highsmith is second on the team in tackles, Sanders is doing well in spot duty.

Maybe we could get the special teams coach from Tenn. oh wait, they got burned on the fake punt. CSS hires great coaches, his special teams guy, wait they got suckered in with Colt David.

Check BDP resume (its a good read), he is well respected in the coaching community. He recruits very, very well. He is known throughout the south in College and High School coaching. Les is glad he took the job when offered.
