Since his arrival Saints have never played better!
I would say that has a little more to do with Brees than Reggie.
What's wrong with wanting your kid to get a better education if you have the means to do so?
It used to be a football game that had tailgating before....now I think it feels like most fans see it as tailgating with a game afterwards.
I enjoy tailgating and agree it is part of the LSU football experience, but to prove my point, watch how many people are still strolling in at the end of the 1st quarter next week.

I think you can blame TAF and the ticket office for all that was stated above and also for the number of fans that left at halftime due to the elements. I am a fan of raising money for the athletic department, but unfortunately the rising cost of bringing your family to an LSU game has filtered out many of the hard working fans who wouldn't be bothered by a little bit of rain. What it's left us with are a much higher percentage of fans who attend the games as a status symbol and as an opportunity to socialize with their friends. They won't stick it out in the rain, because their wives and sometimes the men spent hours and hours getting ready and wouldn't want their hair messed up by jumping up and down in some light rain.
I definitely think the atmosphere of TS has changed, but not the enthusiasm of the fanbase...just the type of fanbase in the game.

He was fun to play against. He was QB in the same backfield as Rondell Mealey (I know I spelled that wrong)
Maybe they can test the game clock while they are at it. We are usually good for 1-2 games per season that have clock malfunctions.
re: Whale Wars - Did anyone watch yesterday's episode?

Its the result of giving a bunch of dorks a large boat and helicopter. I'm all for protecting endangered species, but endangering the life of your crew by going through a pack of ice in a boat that's not equipped to do so and playing chicken with "enemy" boats is stupid. And for what...to call the Japanese people names and throw stink bombs on their boat.
Any two people from any of the deadliest catch crews could run that boat better than the 8-10 people they have....and would be more fun to watch.

For comedians, you have to consider Coneheads.

with decent cb play, RS's td pass to debose is broken up at the least
I'm pretty sure those CB are the best at the HS level and will be playing DI ball next year. That is the whole purpose of the game.
It would be nice to have some leadership at that position, so I hope he stays. Anything lafell tried to do as a leader this year, Byrd just undid it.

Needs to be shortened. Bring all the players to mid-field, start in alphabetical order, let them step forward, wave to the crowd and step back, next...
I disagree. I think after 4 or 5 years of hard work and with the success they have brought to this program, they deserve the opportunity to walk one at at time from the endzone to midfield for some recognition. If your time is too valuable to show your appreciation to them, don't show up. I'll be there.

"The fans' leaving did kind of upset me," Johnson said. "Then they did upset me when they started to boo. It was weird to see the fans leaving. It was crazy. The coaches were really upset with (fans).
"The players trailing at halftime kind of upset me," 50,000 people said. "Then they upset me when they went down even more after halftime. It was weird to see a top 25 team losing to Troy. It was crazy. The fans were really upset with the coaches."
Fixed it. Maybe Big Herm should be trying to fire up his teammates instead of the fans.

I was at the game. He could have had another 5-6 yards on that one. All kickoffs were 5+ yards deep in the endzone. I heard he wants to go to LSU like his dad.

I think ESPN said they are looking for a LEGITIMATE wide receiver for RJ
I still haven't made it inside the River Center. Are they giving out posters?
Maybe he couldn't wait to wear his new team issued long sleeve shirt he got after signing his contract.
Establish a LSU-New York or LSU-Los Angeles campus that also has a football team.

Easily the most mistake prone group on the team
I would have to give that honor to the offensive line.
