First, who had to do this? Wide recievers and conrners? Because if you had lineman, linebackers, or any other position pumping out sub 6 minute miles across the board, I want to see that team play (I realize there are always going to be some that can do this, but not a whole team). And the difference between sub 6 and sub 7 is HUGE.
I'm in decent shape, but am by no means a fast runner. I can probably run a sub 7 mile, but absolutely could not run a sub 6. Again, I know I'm not fast, but to me sub 6 is really running. My interval runs are usually quarter miles at a 6:30 pace followed by a minute or two of jogging or walking. I'm torn up after those quarter miles.

I may be able to find link.
Bee rye beat cork running backwards and won first bet.
Believe ryno lost bet with me about sub 6. Don't know who else was involved

Never timed 1 mile but I ran a 12 minute 2 mile. That was about 15 years ago. I was around 180 lbs at the time.

Damn. You have some big women in your life.

why would anyone care about this enough to know their time? We had to run a sub 6 or 7 minute time for football but I don't know or remember the actual time.
PT test in my case.

When I was was a JR in high school
6'2
215
5:25
The cross country guys said they could hear me behind them like a bear chasing them.
More impressive was the 6'4 275 soph lineman running a 6:30, was like watching a freight train on the loose.
