How bad will it get for Johnny Jones next season if his team is horrible?

They won't have the talent to beat a top team next year like they've had the past 2 seasons. There's zero low post depth and we're having to rely on juco players.
Does Johnny make it the through the season, or will he get canned during the season?

no way joe has the balls to fire Jones midseason. Dale and Temple own his arse.

The Rant?
Do you have anything of substance to say, or are you just going to say stuff like that?

Miracles do happen...Blakeney may turn into Buddy Hield next season and the Aussie freshman might be Stephen Curry-esque.

LSU won't fire him in the middle of the year. Hell, it's not out of the question that LSU would keep him on regardless of next season's results. That's what happens when the school is in the midst of an over-inflated "budget crisis" AND you extended a coach for whom there was, is and will never be a power-conf market, just 2 years into his contract.
There was ZERO logical reason to keep Jones as HC following this season. That decision was made strictly because of the "budget crisis". So my question is will the budget crisis be solved next year? If not, LSU is still going to be on the hook for Jones for at least 2 more years.

if Brady can get canned in-season less than 2 years removed from a Final Four, i don't see why johnny couldn't get 86'd less than a year from arguably the most disappointing year in program history.
as for the fans, like the administration, no one will really care one way or another

Brady is white and an a-hole.

I've always been an LSU basketball fan and it pisses me off to see the team being coached so shitty and not having depth going into Johnny's 5th season...Home crowds will most likely be sparse, but fans will be vocal outside of the PMAC if the shite show continues.

alleva only holds Miles accountable. He lets his own hires fail until they can't fail anymore.

There will be no expectations on the team next year, so there should be no concern regarding Jones job. The team will have not be very talented, so why should fans/administration be upset when they are cellar dwellers in the sec next yr?

It'll be ugly. No star player to sell tickets. Attendance will drop to all time lows. I already know a few season ticket holders who said they might just sell their tickets and buy game by game as needed.

Next year will be a "rebuilding" season and that will buy Jones another season...

I dont think next year will be any worse than this year. We'll probably have more of a TEAM.
