I love the "I called it" thread over something thousands have probably called themselves

Buddy is a nice player.
unstoppable seems a stretch.
You might have missed the Villanova upset win in the finals over Patrick Ewing.
Villanova had one player who was a decent forward in the NBA.
Ewing was Olympic, NBA all star.
Frigging Wilt Chamberlain Kansas lost to UNC by a point in OT in the finals. UNC's best player was waived out of the NBA in mid season.
Heck, Princeton (with NO future NBA players) nearly beat Georgetown (lost 50-49, had the ball and the last shot and missed), in one of Ewing's NCAA runs.
Lew Alcindor's UCLA also with Luscious Allen, were taken into OT by Drake in the semi's.
If the opponent has two or three players have real nice days, your famous great player loses. It usually takes more than one really good player to do it.
UNC Charlotte was an example of what you are hoping for. Cornbread Maxwell was enough by himself to beat a Michigan team with 3 future NBA guards, but Maxwell defeated the big lug playing center for Michigan.
Maxwell broke the press. the big lug never even tried to guard him out on the floor. so the brilliant Michigan press never could happen. Michigan had three perimeter players make it in the NBA. center washed out though.
Is that enough examples?

OP counting chickens before they hatch.
great players have lost to inferior players in the finals and final four.
I like Buddy too.
Enjoy the run. Don't try to say its inevitable.
Its not.

UNC is begging anyone to try and run with them.
Now, kindly STFU, and GTFO!

UNC might sodomize Oklahoma if they play, and I'm a huge Buddy fan.
God willing, and with no lube.

Maybe if your coach didn't have such an awful gameplan on Thursday you'd be playing next week.

Speeding the game up is a great way to lose by 25 to UNC.

You're taking the OP too seriously.

So OU isn't favored against the same team they blew out of the gym earlier in the year?

I've got OU winning it all in my bracket
Posted on 3/27/16 at 4:55 pm to dallastiger55
Correct. Nova was a 4-6 pts favorite then, 2.5 pts favorite now.

I feel like nobody else has watched Virginia. They're incredible.
Virginia is good, but they still will have to play UNC.
I think the UNC-UVa winner, wins it all. I think UNC is the better team than UVa, but you never know, just like Kansas was probably better than Nova, but you have to be flawless against Nova when they're playing like that.
With the emergence of Marcus Paige for UNC, if he plays well like he basically didn't all season, and UNC straps down on defense, then you can hand them the trophy.
