You're right. I suppose I meant matching Alabama's salary because that's the minimum you're going to have to give the guy unless he misses LSU that much. He's been a mercenary in the past. I'm not sure what is different now.

We will find out soon enough, but the Tuesday announement sounds right. I heard Miles will have a team meeting Sunday night and let them know, like they don't already. So, we should be hearing some rumblings Sunday night.

Well the hot rumor is Saban would be willing to come back to LSU for 1 Mill less than his current 4 mill and be willing to sign a 10million dollar buy out...Meaning if Saban wanted to yet move again, he would owe LSU 10 Million dollars... and another note: Saban has never agreed to have a buy out in any of his contracts ...so he is trying to say, I want to finish at LSU...
And I think these numbers were offered up from Saban not LSU... who knows? pretty exciting rumor none the less

As an LSU alum, I don't think it's smart to argue on behalf of our classiness. We can be as bad as the rest of them.

If Bama bumped Saban's 4MM salary to 5.5MM after one 6-6 year with a loss to ULM...I don't know what he's paying Sexton, but it's not enough!

Only place I have seen this mentioned is here on TD. If you read a rumor enough does that make it true?

It was 5.5 this afternoon but I am hearing that Saban told us to frick off and he is going to see just how high we will go. It's not just about money anymore he is now negotiating blowjobs into the contract. mal moore has no shame. I think it is about to get ugly.
