He got offered a lot. Anyone who thinks otherwise isn't capable of figuring out the obvious.

I'd kill a small animal to have him back.
This is not a make it or break it game for JJ either. Miles is loyal to a fault. Fans need to get over it because we're riding JJ until he dies or gets horrifically injured.
We ran the bubble for Skyler quite a bit in 2003 with much more success from Mauck with it than any of our other quarterbacks.
Vegas oddsmakers won't push the line as much as the betters will push the line. Vegas lines are far more accurate for the NFL than college. They seem to let the rankings, field advantage, and betters determine the line... more than personnel. They don't know anymore about Lee than what we all saw his freshmen year.

Where did he say he wasn't leaving? Nothing in that press conference address the future.

I posted before the ANYONE reported... that there was going to be a press conference declaring that he was staying.

It was planned for Miles to declare on Tuesday that he's leaving for Michigan. After in all likelihood someone from Michigan tipping off Herbstreit, a firestorm went off and backed Miles into a corner. He had to make a strong stand to keep his team focus and keep the circus from getting out of control.

When Miles goes to Michigan, you can eat crow.
I guess everything has completely changed. He signed a huge deal. Whether he ignores it and goes onto Michigan is another story. But he has in fact signed a huge deal.

Notice... I posted this before ESPN reported it.

Nothing has changed from the Tuesday announcement. That's what was planned. The Miles to Michigan stuff leaked from the Michigan end. Now it's a clusterf*** in Atlanta.

Not possible to provide a link when it's an in house decision made today.

Press Conference Scheduled

It's to announce Miles is staying. It's PR move on the sports information department's part since Miles could still leave.

This theory is about as good as "Spurrier: O Coordinator, Saban: D Coordinator, Beamer: Special Teams, Skip Bertman: Head Coach"

Just because the players and administration knows... That doesn't mean anyone would confirm it to the media.
Cauble might have some secondary sources, but no one with real information spills anything to him. That's just the nature of it. If he's wrong, he's wrong. If he's right, he's right.
Yeehaw, another douchebag making up a story. Here's a cookie.
Miles is a Michigan guy. His name was rumored before the season since people were predicting Carr would step down. He's leaving to be home.

Saban left for money. He left when he said he wouldn't. He told the players as much. He left when the cupboard was full and ready to win a national title. He let LaRon, Bowe, Buster, Glen, Chevis, Zenon, Steltz, Dorsey, Sanders, Highsmith, Hester, Flynn, Jamarcus, and every other senior and junior from the last 3 years go on without him. When he knew damn well we should have won the SEC 3 years in a row.

ESPN just sped up the announcement process. The players and administration already knew. The players will perform just like they would have had this announcement not been made.
