I am really enjoying this season so far.
They are making the right about of refernces to Jessica Jones.
I think they are setting up the kind of Mysticism we are gonna see in Iron Fist pretty well too.
I just really like that Marvel on Netlfix is showing DC they can do dark and gritty as well.

I am 9 in and enjoying it. IMO, Daredevil and Punisher make a good pairing. I don't think it's any coincidence that they were the two franchises that had the most trouble on the big screen. Their stories are better suited for a series. Glad to see it is being well done. I prefer this to the Marvel movies.
I thought there would be a drop off when they brought in Elektra but I haven't been disappointed yet.
Any chance they being in Bullseye next season?

A few general thoughts:
1. Do these people ever sleep, especially Murdock? Ole boy is Daredevil all night then works his cases all during the day.
2. Bernthal was spot on as Frank Castle, I don't see any weaknesses with that part, other than giving him more depth through his own series.
3. I most identify with Foggy. I hope he gets it in with the hot blonde friend, but he seems stuck in the friend zone.
4. Will season 3 come out next year?

Finished season 2.
Overall impression: Really liked it a lot.
[Spoilers]
Pro: Punisher is bad arse. Great fight scenes. Elektra is hot. So is Karen Page. I think they introduced a lot of parts and somehow pulled it off.
Cons: The trial was absolutely the worst television trial i have ever seen. They didn't even give Frank Castle time to have his face unpulverized? They gave his defense firm a week to work together 30+ murder charges? The whole part Matt did when treating him as a hostile witness isn't how that works. He just testified directly to the jury at that point. No objections from DA on that?

That fight scene in the stairwell with the bikers was top notch. The long panning shots were well done, sort of the anti Bourne shaky cam

Every scene that took place on the rooftop in episode three is just amazing writing and top notch television.
The debate between Castle and Murdock on being a hero or vigilante is tremendously written, Frank's interaction with the Nam vet is great glimpse of Frank beyond the rage, and to cap it off with a fight scene like that?
Amazing.
