He will keep a few more recruits in state and pull a few from outside. He will not be the miracle worker that these Arkansas fans think he will. Arkansas fans think that their school is a sleeping giant like LSU and they will be sorely disappointed when reality sets in and they are still middle of the pack. Besides, Tubberville will retire in the not to distant future and then they will be looking again.

For those calling the U of A a sh!thole, are you aware that the dump the U of A plays in for the LSU game IS NOT the campus or a U of A facility?
Just a little FYI, Wal-Mart and Tyson have purchased facilities that are unmatched throughout the country.
For all that you can say about Arkansas, "Sh!thole" and "Talent deprived" are not among them.

No kidding. I'm glad we're finally spending money on good coaches. Arkansas could be a sweet 16 in basketball this year.

Don't listen to that crap DC. The problem is that people in NW Ark generally have an over inflated opinion of their area and just do not understand why everyone and their mother would not want to pick up and move to Fayetteville (aka Little Dallas). This is not the 1960's and Arkansas is surrouned by perinnial football powers that top recruits actually WANT to go to. NO offense but a reality check is in order for Razorback fans kind of like what Alabama got this year with Saban.

Still sort of surprised if Tubby were to commit to Arkansas before seeing what happens at LSU but it makes sense for him to go home and the timing is right. I would believe that Sexton in no way wants two of his best clients to compete in the same marketplace. Either the Saban effect at Bama causes a slide for Tubby and Auburn or Tubby continues to hammer Bama and Saban therby tarnishing his biggest money guy. Either way, one of his clients stands to lose momentum, support and thus $$$$$$$$.

I don't have an overinflated opinion of it at all... but it's not trash. And I never said Tubby could do better or even that it will 100% happen.

I never would have thought it before I went there in October. UA has some on the nicest facilities and a beautiful campus at Fayettville. Every thing is so damn clean too.
Plus, they take thier humping seriously in that state. On I-40 from Memphis to Little Rock you will see 29 billboards advertising XXX Sex Supercenters...some ever with damn drive thru's.
