If Tuberville goes to Arkansas I am moving. I live in Arkansas and I would not be able to stand Arkansas having a consistantly dominant program. This past week has been hard enough. Nothing is more obnoxious than an Arkansas fan win the are winning. I hope LSU pulls a heck of a rabbit out of thier hat to off set this developeent. ![](https://images.tigerdroppings.com/Images/Icons/Iconbanghead.gif)

he is taking a big step down. that won't happen.

we weren't going to pay that buyout shoe. Arkansas has some people who can write that check without thinking twice

pioneer - you poppin' tops at the TT news? i think it's a solid move for the new AD, err i mean new Vice-Chancellor.

Look all I know is is that Long (the new AD) is looking to make a big splash... will this be it? Time will tell.
We will be consistently better in football? Time will tell.
And that's all I know for now...
But I won't be confident about any of it until he's announced, called the hogs, and stays for at least a week.

on hogville someone said tubbs told the poeple at a local diner he was looking forward to coming back. this was in helena where he's duck hunting.

One thing is for certain: If this is true, it will create for real the rivalry that has been pretend since Arkansas joined the SEC.

I think he is going.

Tommy, please say its premature and you're waiting to see what happens at LSU
If Tubby takes the Arky job with the LSU job possibly coming open, makes you think Sexton has someone lined up there as well.

First: Is this confirmed?
Second: Who has been to the UofA campus and facilities? How are they compared to other major programs?
Third: DC, Hogz, etc. I've always heard that the money was there, but not the commitment or agreement on where and how to use it. Is that true and is it in the middle of nowhere?
Finally, if this is true, it could be a step down with a HUGE upside. Arky has some talent in state, but they have the ability to steal recruits from North TX also. The Dallas/Fort Worth area is expanding North and if Tubby got a foothold there, that would be scary. Leaving the SWC was a mistake for them as far as recruiting.

Very comparable... Broyles did us good

They've always been cheap with it... but they are deciding to open up the wallets if this all holds true.

True... and the new TAMU/Arky series at the new Cowboys stadium might help with the Texas recruiting.

Here is the deal...........
TT frequently flies home (R-Kansas). Nothing new there.
TT, by his own admission, has friends fly him in to R-Kansas for duck hunting season. His trip to R-Kansas has been planned for some time. Nothing new there either.
With all of that said, THIS duck hunting trip included Jim Lindsay, a member of the U of A Board of Trustee's, that keeps his hand in all things football. He was a team mate of Jerry Jones and Jimmy Johnson under Broyles.
We will see if there is actually fire with this smoke in the coming days.

like others have said (bilj, dw, etc.) , this site is pretty acurate, no matter how rediculous it sounds at times........good hire, congrats. much better than that clown they had before.

To say Arkansas facilities are "comparable" is like saying sh!t has a slight odor to it.
When Billionaires pay for facilities they are 1st class.
Facilities, in any sport, has never been an issue.
The $$$ spent on facilities is ridiculous to the point that after EVERY Summer Olympics, the U of A purchases the Tracks. Not because they need more tracks, but just to make sure they always have the Worlds fastest.
