Everyone seems to think it's Florida, A&M and Vandy above the rest in the SEC, but I've seen a lot of positives from this extremely young team and there is no reason to believe they don't get better as the season goes on.

I'm a little about Lange but other than that, I'm optimistic.

Lange will work with Dunn and be fine by SEC play, if not earlier. I just wanna see how these young players do against better competition/pitching

I'm a little concerned about Bugg right now. He couldn't buy a strike tonight and he was one of our top arms last season.

I'm not sure whats up with him this year. Either he or Newman need to get going.

Not a lot of "great" players but a whole lot of good ones. It's a loaded lineup with everyone being a tough out. I like them a lot.

I know. Very strange. You have to figure he'll come around soon.

Tech isn't bad and that pitcher we played tonight was their Friday night starter who beat ull and Arkansas back to back

This will be a fun team to watch because they will play hard every night, but it will take a lot of luck for us to finish above.500 in the sec.

Luck to be above .500 in SEC play? Get out of here. I expect to finish around 17-13 or so maybe better maybe worse. But to say lucky is ridiculous

Lange has had moments of lights out pitching. He'll be fine given a little bit of time.

Our relief pitching is in shambles right now. There's only three guys pitching at a level we need to win in the SEC, that's Gilbert, Cartwright and Newman. Both Cartwright and Newman have had bad outings already this year, so I still hold my breath when they're on the mound.

Stallings had one outing in which he located his breaking ball. Without that other pitch he'll be hit hard in the SEC. I DIDN't see it tonight, but I was starting to fall asleep, so correct me if I'm wrong on that.

We need two of Bain, Norman and Reynolds to get into a groove.

They have struggled but I fully expect them to get it going...They just need innings..They were all really solid last year....

LSU will be lucky to win 18 games in the SEC, which is still pretty good.

The middle relief pitchers are shaky and they don't have a true SS which will hurt them eventually. Robinson and Coleman are good 2nd basemen. Stil will be good enough to get a Super Regional
