Outside the top 4 in the draft who are the top 5 guys you want for this team?

So excluding Brown, Ben, Ingram, and Bender.
Mines in order
Murray- good size a strong guard very explosive with a nice shot
Luwawu- you already know
Poeltl- athletic passing defensive center we need.
Dunn- Would be #1 but injury prone, has great size and is explosive.
Heild- not sold on him but has a low floor and can be serviceable.

Caris LeVert isn't a bad prospect

My favorite prospect might be Trade Back. Trading back probably means you miss Hield and Murray, but I'd love to be able to get 2 of Valentine/Luwawu/Prince.

Buddy Hield can come in and contribute immediately. I think he's got a sneaky good shot at being similar to DWade with more range and less athleticism.
The NBA game will open up his slashing game more, which is tougher to show in college.

Murray and it's not even close. Dude will be one of the best players to come out of this draft. He can flat out play.

Valentine- super super smart and could be our backup pg off the bench as a six man wing a la iggy or start at either the 2 or 3. Questions on athleticism on the defensive end but high iq guys like Jared Dudley are considered + defenders and I'd be willing to bet Valentine is more athletic than Dudley and just as smart.
Luwawu- potential to be a steal. 30 min a game in Europe at 20 is a big deal especially when your averaging 15 while guarding the best opposing wing player
Hield- natural born leader. Personality of Draymond green with the game of JJ Reddick. Would fit perfectly in this system but other guys have higher ceilings
prince- trade down option. Big physical wing who reminds me of demarre Carroll

I'd like to see Wayne Selden or Perry Ellis from Kansas get taken in a mid round. They're polished ball players and great contributors to their team.

Murray - 78 FT%
Hield - 89%
Valentine - 84%
Brown - 65%
Demetrius Jackson - 79%
Diamond Stone
LeVert - 79%
I don't know enough about Dunn (70%) to form an opinion.
I'd really love to take one of Murray or Hield with our first pick and then try to trade into the mid-first and grab Valentine, Jackson, Stone, or LeVert if they happen to be there.
I've been reading that FT% in college is a good indicator (and typically better than college 3PT%) of a player's 3PT shooting in the NBA. So that's something I've been observing.

Dray is not a scorer and klay is inconsistent
56-6 says otherwise.
Poeltl from Utah is a beast. If we are still running Gentry's offense next season, this is the guy we need at center:
From NBADraft.net:
quote:
Strengths: There are not many 7' footers who can run the floor like he does ... He gets up and down the court very well, giving strong effort on every possession ... Often gets himself open just by out-hustling opposing bigmen ... He has an long, agile, and strong body, and enjoys contact and doesn’t back down from it ... His skill level is still very raw but he has big, soft hands, and knows how to use his large frame to get deep post position and present good angles ... Shows the ability to finish with both hands, and his soft touch gives his offensive game some real intrigue ... His ability to finish around the rim allowed him to shoot with very high efficiency numbers from the field this year ... Another very intriguing aspect of his skillset is how well he moves his feet on defense ... He shows great coordination and can really show hard on the pick and roll without getting beat easily by guards ... He plays really hard every minute on the floor, has a good motor and seems to understand his limitations ... Needs to add some strength, but has an excellent frame to carry weight ...
If we are talking someone very NBA ready, I'd be down with Buddy Hield, especially if we let EG walk.

Outside of top 4 I think Denzel Valentine will be the best NBA prospect. Dude is like a Draymond Green type player but better on the perimeter
