This we be my first game for both baseball and softball this weekend. We have seats for the left field bleachers for baseball and the tiger terrace for softball. Any pointers about parking, pre game activities, game time or post game would be appreciated!

Baseball pre-game: walk around the concourse and get a feel for the stadium. It's a good place to hang out when it's scorching hot (which it shouldn't be this weekend). Also a good vantage spot to watch batting practice.

During the game, maybe watch the game?

After the game, enjoy the ease of zipping away from a stadium, unlike for football, where you grow mold waiting for traffic to clear.

I will definitely be watching the game but I was wondering if there were any traditions or chants that the fans do during the game.

There are plenty of chants and timely clapping. You'll know when they happen.

There will be this c*nt sitting under the "A" of the MANDA sign in the left field corner. She will yell "Fraley" and other players' names. The shrill and screech of this women's yell is fricking terrible.

I have do have a solution though. After she yells, you imitate her by trying to be as annoying as her. She will stop. This was tested and was successful two years ago when I had to sit in her section.

A must see for your first baseball game in Alex Box is to tour the Wally Pontiff, Jr. LSU Baseball Hall of Fame located under the grandstand, ground level, third base side just past the window where the LSU bat girls are selling programs. Walk through the main gate directly in front of the Stadium, walk towards the Champions Club entrance but take a left before the CC doors...the HoF is about 75 feet or so on your left.

It's open before and during the game but closes right at the end of the game.

There's no admission charge and it has some really amazing exhibits in there about LSU baseball history and its greatest players and plays.

check out baseball hall of fame
I took kids to softball game last year, fan friendly without the large baseball crowd, even at capacity softball is great for the kids

I just saw where the tiger park terrace for the softball game does not have seats. Should we bring our own chairs or do most people stand or sit in the grass?
