No. You can't return to the past. I wouldn't want to anyway, with hearing every year that he's entertaining this job or that job.
He's an arrogant condescending prick and a good coach, NOT a great coach.

I don't really get the hesitation - It is an overtly female trait to honor emotion over logic.
Hell yes I'd take him back. He's a fit, He recruits. He wins. What he did to get back home is irrelevant.
Besides, logically, I'd rather have him recruiting/ coaching for us than against us.
Enjoy these glory days we've had over Bama -they are quickly coming to an end. Miles is what rhymes with pecan.

Absolutely not.
Nick Saban has shown himself to be the Billy Mayes (of Oxyclean sales fame) of college football. He's a great salesman...which is how he's been able to parlay slightly above average numbers into the highest paid coaching gig in America.
Aside from the hurt feelings from the last go 'round with this guy, the biggest draws of having him used to be his NFL connections and how they helped convince high school players he could help them get to the NFL and his often preached about character. Given his total failure while in Miami and his cowardly way of slinking away from that job, I'd say both of those draws are currently shot.

look at his record overall if he wasn't Nick Saban no one wouldn't even give him a second look.
No emotion here I just don't think he is a great coach.Miles has the better record hell Tubbertrash has a better record.
