I've been on about eight different drugs, including Prozac for close to 15 years. Never really got rid of the depression, just kinda "stabilized" me.

Today my doc put me an a fairly new drug called Fetzima. Anyone have any experience, good or bad, with this drug?

I've been on one drug or another for depression for 10 yrs. It works wonders for me, and I'm happy as a pig in slop as long as I'm on something.

Never heard of the one you are on but sometimes it's trial and error. Good luck to you

Some people need them, some dont. Dad did multiple tours in Afghanistan...I believed him when he took them for about 6 months. Ex took them because she got bad grades....which was because she was lazy as frick. Some people need this and some use them as a crutch but I don't judge without knowing the situation

Clean up your diet, work out a lot and you may not need the drugs. No judgement here but I bet that helps a bunch.

Drugs aren't the way to go to deal with mental health issues.

Correct. Good diet (lots of hemp hearts and other Omega foods), meditation and exercise work.

Labeling antidepressants as "drugs" is an attempt to discredit these medicines which have been shown to help some people tremendously. A foolish attempt.

Lexapro for depression, Doxepin for sleep, Klonopin for depersonalization disorder. Truth is, I've never felt better.
