He sure as hell ain't no superstar that's for sure. If he developed another year you wouldn't have to be asking this question!

It's not like he's passing up quality shots to pad his assist total once he gets his points.....?....

I may have to rewatch to confirm

I don't know how some of your fans continue to support him. He doesn't give a damn about LSU or the fans and it is showing. If he isn't going to play his arse off while he is there, then I wouldn't be supporting him if I were LSU fans.
Damn, nailed it

I was over him a few games. We aren't UK. We couldn't get the blue chip kid to buy in. We should probably avoid doing this in the future, unless we have someone in the program that can make the stud player give a frick in his one season.

He dropped 23/12/6 while playing with a bunch of idiots.
Patterson and Quarterman went 3 of 19 and people are bitching about Simmons lmao.
He is on a team full of scrubs who wouldn't get a game in the Azerbaijan basketball league outside of Blakeney.

He will go 1st and dominate in the NBA.

Exactly. Stats be damned. He doesn't do anything to win games and is lazy as frick on defense.

Our fanbase is awful. If they team doesn't win the hate every fricking player. Who cares that the guy is going to be the first player in the history of the SEC to be top 5 in every single category.

Every
Single
Category

Yet he isn't doing enough and the fans are tired of him

Do you think Ben Simmons bought into the program and gave his 100% every night to win games for LSU?

Awful embarrassing fans. When he tears up the NBA I hope he doesn't give a damn thing back to Lsu. Or say one positive things. Embarrassing the way our fanbase acts

What does he have to do to impress you, pull out his cape and fly around the Assembly Center.

I do wish that he could hit his free throws.

He played a pretty good game. He seemed to assert himself more. But it was another lose so what does it really matter.

On average, how many points does Simmons give up a game with average to poor defense, turnovers, and going to FT line more than any other player and usually making just 1 of 2? Unique player, but not special on the college level

Not special on the college level you say

He is leading all freshman in every category except assists where he is 2nd. That is unheard of

He is also going to be the first player in SEC history to be top 5 in every category. And the SEC has had some of the best players of all time

But nothing special like you say

We made Simmons the centerpiece of the team, and he could care less about LSU and this season. This has led to what we see now, a team that is checking out when others are playing their hardest. That's because Simmons doesn't want to work hard, he wants to get paid.
I think that's part of the reason he came here, he knew he could coast, and he wouldn't be able to do that at Duke or Kentucky etc.
