They are good boats. Journey South Outfitters in Venice has an 18 BVT if you ever want to try one out before purchasing.

Yeah Journey South has a nice one. I've always really liked the fish ability of skiffs, but on a big lake chop, you'll get your arse beat and get soaked. Need a more versatile bay boat for here.
