Don't understand what happened with our WR's. I thought he did a great job developing receivers at UGA. With the talent he was giving to work with at LSU one would think he would have been able to far exceed expectations. Quinn and Diarse did shite and it seems Dural has regressed a bit. Chi is just to talented not to produce regardless of coaching though. So it's a wash with him. But too many drops as a group since Ball has been coach.

Keith Williams would be hard to get. He just got a raise(400K/yr) and his son transferred to Nebraska this year from Fresno St to play for him. I am not saying it would be impossible, just difficult.

Could be Michael Smith from Arkansas. We looked into him when we hired Ball. He's cousins with Malachi Dupre and He has recruiting connections in Texas.

See page 1 of this thread. Smith isn't coming here.

Don't worry I fully agree.

Interesting how much staff turnover we're having this year. Most in the Miles era and it might not be over.
They just tried to fire the guy. We were having turnover regardless. Most of yall were pretty vocal about wanting this thing blown up.

I think the saints hired him a short while back.

If we get Curtis Johnson as the new WR coach, Miles should become the next AD.

I don't disagree. I also like the other Johnson - David, who was Curtis' RB coach at Tulane. Dave coached WRs in high school and one can't ignore TM7's head coach and Craig "Buster" Davis' position coach.
Would be a recruiter in the same league as Wilson, Juluke and Curtis Johnson, IMHO. Another Louisiana native - coached at St. Aug and OPW.

LSU will find a better one to replace him with. Not to worry.

Looks like Juluke just became our running backs coach

I put a topic out last week that Ball seemed like dead weight. Apparently, so did Les. The Juluke hire is spectacular, and Les is on fire with recruiting, Aranda, Juluke and getting rid of Ball.

The replacement will be announced soon. It's like Jeff Foxworthy said about a girl breaking up with you, she's already culled another from the herd and fitting him for a saddle. News will break within the week.

Also, could have instructed the WRs better regarding comments to the press (ie. Malachi airing post-game frustration)
