You guys probably already know this but Bo Pelini will be interviewed by Tom Osborne tomorrow....what do you guys think of this. And also i heard that Bo's wife and kids live in Lincoln, do you think that is true??? I don't live in Lincoln so i wouldn't know.

Good Luck in the SEC title hunt and in your guys bowl, I'll be rooting for you guys in the bowl game. Good luck to the rest of your season. GBR

Thanks for the wish of "Good Luck." We'll need it since our DC is job hunting instead of focusing on the job he has now.

Hardly true. His kids are in school here in Baton Rouge and his home has been here since joining the staff three years ago.

With Pellini as HC, maybe Nebraska only gives up 50 to Kansas next year.

That isn't true, I have seen several stories about him going to his kids soccer games the morning of a football game.

It is common knowledge that he doesn't like to recruit. If he would hire assistants who can recruit very well, then he would probably be a great hire. The defense hasn't been very good the second half of this season, but overall the three year statistics are very good. Expect some bad comments because we are still sore about that defensive collapse two days ago.

1) Passive defensive schemes that waste talent.
2) Can't recruit and doesn't like to as well.
3) Personality of a tree stump.

Sounds like a good hire for LSU by Nebraska.

That would be Callahan. Did they even watch the way the Raiders team (that played for a Super Bowl) quit on him... and how helpless he looked.

Pretty sure that happened a long time ago. Now they are looking for a crowbar.

I know that you're guys defense has been lacking a lot but it doesn't help when your guys offense goes 4 an out in some cases. Ya if your defense is out there longer than your offense you're bound to have teams blow up your defense. And you guys played against a good team with a great running back. Not to be rude or anything but i'd rather be 10-2 than 5-7. But good luck in the rest of your season...best wishes from Husker fans.

Actually I think BP will be a good coach. It is obvious that Miles is very conservative in close games and I think he has had a hand in some of the defensive schemes. There have been games under BP that LSU has brought a lot of pressure and done well, but then we have games like Friday. Based on some of Miles overall gameplans I think the conservative schemes had more to do with Miles than Pelini.

Example: First half of 05 UT game, LSU brought pressure and looked great. 2nd half gameplan (on both sides of the ball) was VERY CONSERVATIVE. I think that is a decision from the HC not the DC.

Good luck.

I think it's great. I hope he's hired by Nebraska. I'd write him a letter of rec. if he wanted. Heck, I'd buy him a bus ticket...no, scratch that, a plane ticket...first class, provided he leaves immediately.
