This question may be answered somewhere in this thread or the vue one, but I'll just ask again...
Does the WatchESPN app lock you out of games you aren't "supposed" to have? In other words, can you guys with sling or the base vue package watch the LSU game tonight on the espn app even though espnu isn't in your package?

I understand that. My question is whether slingtv (or vue package without espnu) credentials will allow you to watch that game on watchespn.

If you pay for Sling or Vue and don't pay for the package that includes the SECN, etc., you cant access those channels on WatchESPN

As an AAR, I could not get the game through Sports Devil (Kodi), but was able to watch through WatchESPN on my Roku. I am a cable subscriber, but have pared back and do not get ESPNU. However, my login credentials were sufficient for WatchESPN.
Just to help out others - I'm cutting the cord slowly.

I thought I set the LSU game to record on ESPNU via Vue since I went to the game, but when I looked for it on "My Shows" yesterday, I didn't see it. Is there a secret way to find what you recorded on Vue?

Moved into my house today and have been setting up vue on different devices. So far I like the fire TV much more than the roku for the UI.

Trying to watch NFL games on sportsdevil.
Works on my firetv which is newer. Watch through either of the firstrow links. But for some reason it doesnt work on the firestick I have had for a few months. Regardless of the links I try on sportsdevil, none work. Any body run into this before?

So I cut the cord a year ago and bought a firestick. Was able to watch ESPN, NBCSports, etc just fine and now it is telling me I need an activation code to show I'm a subscriber.
WTF, was I piggy backing on someone who changed plans and never knew it?

Did it not require you to use subscriber login when opening watchESPN the first time?
Maybe the cable company finally got around to updating ESPN/NBC that you are no longer a customer.

NBC you can get with an antenna for free. For ESPN you'll need a subscription to Sling/Vue/etc I believe.

Anyone have issues picking up channels on one tv but not another?
A recently installed antenna gets me 20+ channels on the tv in the living room. All the networks plus a lot of other crap I've never heard of. However, I'm only picking up 2 networks on the bedroom tv. The picture quality for those 2 channels is every bit as good as the quality of the living room tv.
Fwiw--Bedroom tv is a 10 year old Sony Bravia that was top of the line in 2006 and still performs every bit as well as it did the day I plugged it in. Living room is a 4k Vizio.

I am in the planning phase of cutting the cord. Here is my plan.
Shop internet providers, but may go with a dedicated internet service like DSL extreme. Digital Antenna (Mohu or something similar). Sling TV with ESPN add-on. I am planning to also get Fire TV with Kodi installed. All in all, I should go from $196 to $88-95.
I guess my question about Kodi is, will that be my work around to needing Hulu, HBOGo, and Showtime? Shows usually populate on there the day after airing on TV, right?

What is the best way to get cat 6 run from my modem to another room in my house? Charter is being a bitch about it and we just moved into so I don't have a lot of time to run it myself right now with all the other projects I have going on. Who would I normally call for this?
