Just for the record, you are talking about getting commissioned as an officer, right?

I don't know between the two honestly. I was in the Army and worked for the AF when I got out.

Navy

Why the hell would you want to spend your military service living in a plywood hut deep in the middle of some shithole country...When you could be banging Filipino strippers three at time

I'd think it depends on what he wants to do in the military, whether he's comfortable living away from family for months at a time, etc.

You can bang plenty of Filipino strippers in the Army. Russians too. Just go to Korea.

I was going to say Navy anyway, but this removes any doubt.

Navy seems like a better choice. Nicer bases. Jobs that translate better for post civilian life, etc.

Marines - sleep in the mud and dirt and eat crappy food, many people trying to kill you

Army - sometimes sleep in the mud and dirt, sometimes eat crappy food, not so many people trying to kill you, stateside forts in crappy locations, (ever been to Ft Polk?)

Air Force - better uniforms, seldom sleep in the mud and the dirt, eat better food, not so many people trying to kill you, bases in better locations

Navy - stranger uniforms, sleep in beds (however waking up with water rising around your bunk while on a ship is not a good thing) better bases, long deployments at sea, better food, see much more of the world.

Any idea how hard it is to join the Navy Reserves as an officer with no prior experience?
