Why Saints should sign Johnny Manziel

-Cheap contract. We are strapped as it is.
-Fits into the culture of New Orleans. No brainer. Dude would flourish here.
-He can learn from Drew Brees. Both are undersized Texas gunslingers. Drew could lead the way for Johnny to eventually take over a few years down the road.
-Low risk, VERY high reward. We saw flashes of the college JFF a few times last year. In the right atmopshere he could do it. NOLA is that atmosphere.

Manziel would be drunk on Bourbon street every night. Not a good fit

Johnny manziel has NEVER played qb. He ran around and then chucked it to immensely talented wr. THAT was college "jff" That's not sustainable... shite is wasn't sustainable against college defenses.

My kids ask the same thing sometimes.
And its a horrible idea as he's a horrible professional has proven nothing on or off the field except he's a horrible professional. He's a punk arse wanna be that is less mature than my 14 year old son.

I'd definitely rather have RGIII. Fans up here in DC have sht on him, but organization has done it even more.
Now he will be available really cheap once he's cut.
Bring him home to N.O. and let him learn from Drew.

LSU killed this dude's stock and proved why he wasn't an NFL QB. He sucks in the NFL. He'll never be good at QB. No. Plus he has a face I just want to slap so bad.

if you're being serious (which I doubt) you should be embarrassed.

I really really want that Browns QB said no one ever.

In no way would bringing Johnny Manziel to NOLA be a good idea.
Can imagine that dude passed out in the French quarter every night?

Ok - but he is useless

If by "flourish" you mean "graduate from functional alcoholic to town drunk" you are right.

He hasn't learned one thing from the career backups he plays behind. That should tell you something. He's not as good as career backups. Just because he and Brees happen to be from on of the biggest states in the country means nothing

Very high reward? If the reward is embarrassing a whole organization is a "reward" then sure I buy it.
If this is NOT a troll post, you suck. If it is a troll post, bravo sir.

1) He isn't any good.
2) He has had massive amounts of off-field problems.
3) He isn't any good.

Character Problems
No work ethic
Not a good NFL QB
We have a HoF QB
Lockerroom cancer
Has gambling and drug problems
Not worth the money, as we have other needs

The only thing I expect out of Johnny Football is to stay out of New Orleans.

I'd rather RGIII
RG3 has been unlucky in his career.
Although part of that is his unwillingness to accept coaching.
But the dude has actual NFL talent that Manziel doesn't.
And JFF's attitude is a hundred times worse.
