Intrigued, but think I will be disappointed. It looks right and sounds right.

I'm thinking this is a 1970s riff on Mad Men, but with the music industry.

HBO generally doesn't half-arse things. I don't always like their stuff, but it will likely be a top notch effort.

Bobby Cannavale hammed it up a bit but all in all not bad. Not great but not bad either. Will be interesting to see what kind of music they feature. The pilot was too much soul and blues for my taste. Everything from a Chris Kenner look alike singing "I Like it Like That" to Bo Diddley.

Juno Temple has always been an actress who I find unappealing when she first appears on screen but somehow manages to become pleasing to the eye over the course of the movie. I’ve seen her in a about a half dozen things and that has always been the case.

They're going to have to be careful if they pursue an Andy Warhol storyline that it doesn't become a caricature of the times. Although it would be nice to see Lou Reed and John Cale show up.

I'm sure the show will settle in because I trust the people involved, but that was not a great pilot. I just never expected it to feel so boring.

Just getting around to this. If the Gyp Rosetti guy is in it, I am too. I'm about to watch the 1st episode.

I love this show. The more people nitpick it like they're trying to win some kind of persnickety of the year contest, the more I love it.
