Let me see if this is how it works
Landry has the most receptions after 2 seasons in NFL history. Ever. No one in history has more receptions. That's all Landry, amirite
But his big play, deep threat, TD ability lies in his shitty QB you just likened to Mike Vick and Landry jones

Jarvis Landry
all the LSU shite aside, he's just a better, more productive player at this stage of his career, all while have a worse QB....

Lol how do you measure production?

So we are going to act like Landry is in an offense as good?

Jarvis anyday. cooks=bust for what we gave for him imo. Funny we give up a 3rd round pick along with our 1st to draft a 4th round talent.

ROFL
Guy that that just had nearly 1200 yards and 9 TDs in his second year is a bust

Lets try this one more time. Pay attention please.
Recv X with his own unique skill set plays for a boring offensive team with few options as he is the go to guy with fantastic numbers in receptions and yards.
Recv Y with his own skill set plays for a wide open multiple option offence and a HoF QB who spreads the ball around like no other and puts up good numbers in receptions and yards.

Have you even read through this thread?
Landry being in Miami is not an excuse as to why Cooks is the better more productive player.
Landry is the go to guy in Miami with way more opportunities than Cooks in Nola. But yet Cooks' production after 2 yrs is superior to Landry's. So explain to me why that is?

Why do some of you hate Cooks so much?

The cooks and Ingram hate around here is real because if it wasnt for them, we'd have lsu players of worse skillsets instead.
Ingram could finish 3rd in rushing yards (Hahaha as if any saints rb would) and have 4.4ypc they'd just point out the 4.4ypc is bad and our other options are better. Just like Hightower's sub 4.0 ypc was better than Ingram

It's so strange. Cooks may not be the true #1 guy, but he does make his fair share of plays. I'd say that defenses are more scared of Cooks then Landry because of his big play potential.
I will say that Landry brings it each and every down and has the sort of intangibles that fire up a team. That sort of passion can't really be found in a box score. Still, they are both really good players and I'm excited to see Cooks develop fro here on.

The real comparison is Jarvis Landry vs. Stanley Jean Baptist
IMO, the comparison should be:
1st - Jason Verrett
2nd - Jarvis Landry or Allen Robinson
or
1st - Brandin Cooks
2nd - Stanley Jean-Baptiste

not fair considering allen robinson > every WR not named OBJ

Yeah, I can't even remember if Robinson was on Saints radar for 2014 Draft. I do remember some mocks from back then having the Saints picking Verrett, and then just looked to see what WRs were drafted after where we picked Baptiste.
