Another golf thread got the axe. So I just want to post here that golf sucks and if you're out wasting thousands on crap called "Ping" then you are a loser.

Golf on acid wouldn't suck.

Doing drugs, especially when your young brain is still developing, is not good. Just stop.

I can tell you this...peyote beats em all.

My LSU/Arizona football 2003 trip was one of my last trips -- my first with peyote. I smoked weed (indo) that was turquoise . I did coke that was awfully fricking good. The peyote experience was unlike any other. I threw up, but it was very mild...not near as visual as shrooms, but at the same time just freaking beautiful and warm. My buddy and I went to some Tuscon strip club where you could get a $6 lap dance. The Friday night before the game was an unbelievable combo of narcotics and buttons and Latino arse mashed against my face.

I registered on TD.com 4 months later. Since 2004, I have tripped once...done coke once...it was fun while it lasted.

The late 70s and early 80s were pretty fricking cool too. Blotter and sugar cube. Where did you go?

That's weird. My teenage brain told me that acid and peyote were indispensable to my growth and maturity.

Now, 50 years later, at age 66, my brain looks back on all those hundreds of trips with fondness and even a certain nostalgic longing.

Sugarcubes...Jesus, talk about playing roulette with your mind. I know a guy who took one that was rumored to have 40-50 drops on it and he tripped for a month and never left his apartment.

That orange gel that was circulating in 1997-1998 was unbelievable. It was the best acid I ever ate.

If only my heart could take it, I would drop some orange sunshine, microdot or pane in a heart beat.

12 hour trip without leaving the farm.

Ive visited the Spirit World many times via LSD and shrooms.

In 2009 I was working at Commanders Palace and a girl I worked with approached me and handed me a flyer. It was for a local film she was acting in called Iran Against Us. They were having a screening at Canal Place and an after party following the movie at the top of the hotel that rises above Canal Place and overlooks the river (I forget the name of the hotel). Anyway, I decided WTF, I'll eat 3 hits of acid and go take a gander at her film and see how it is, support the team, etc. Long story short, I told no one that I saw at the theatre that I was tripping, it was my little trump card for the night that I wanted to play close to my vest...

By the end of the film (which contained many local actors who moonlighted as bartenders at places like Vic's Kangaroo bar and the like, I recognized many of them...), it was like an "explosion" went off in my head coinciding with the final scene of the film... and it hit me like a mac truck...I was SUPPOSED to have eaten acid. The climax of the film (a satirical love story set against international espionage...yes, really, all shot around Nola) really was a generic message to which anyone could relate. However, I believe that was the point of it....to draw YOU/ME into its plot and immerse yourself into it, exposing your own problems. ...coupled (or tripled) with the LSD, i really believed the Hand of God had led me to that exact point in my existence, and my eyes were opened to the answer to a relationship problem with a certain girl which had bothered me for too long... i realize all this reads like a steaming pile of crap, buy it was an eye opening night to say the least... and it didn't stop there...once I got to Vics to have a drink of whiskey and play some tunes on the jukebox (Hendrix- If 6 was 9 specifically) the LSD went into overdrive and I literally felt like a puppet on a string that was directly connected to my creator...

It's hard to explain 7 years later, but yes, psychedelic drugs will open your mind to thought processes you never tapped into before. I support.

LSD and peyote force you to drastically rethink your notions of reality. Visual, sensory and intellectual experiences that a non-user dismisses as chemically manufactured, are understood by the user as insights into the true and limitless dimensions of reality.

Besides that, seeing shite like your parents' heads morph into iguanas is just fricking cool.

Ah, 1966, where did you go ....
