Dude wtf. This is seriously not a thing where I live and every time I bring it up, no ones ever heard of it. Actually the first reaction is usually "sounds gross."
You don't have to be an arse
Well, you started this shite fest by acting like a pretentious dick bag from the start. You brought this on yourself. Also, you're a fricking moron for not knowing this is the original poboy. Read a fricking book every now and then why don't ya?

He is not an arse. Once again you show how fricking stupid you are. As in the enameled cookware thread this just shows you are a young dumbass. Eat a French fry po boy and shut the frick up. Because we just thought your were a dumb frick. But each time you type you just confirm how much of a retard you really are.

WTF is pretentious about this? Obviously this is a regional thing that never made it out of the new Orleans area, and you arrogant city pricks think the entire state looks to you for food guidance.
Come down the bayou talking like that...it'll be the last time I promise.

There used to be a place near St. Maurice that would sell a 12" French fry, onion rings and Big Shot for $1.99. Many of summers working at Holy Cross and I probably ate that at least twice a week.

Do you even Cajun food, bro?
I've never had a French fry poboy, but I have put boudin on French bread. And potato salad in gumbo that already had rice in it. We starch on starch alla damn time.

I heard Mitch (the owner) died a few months back maybe that had something to do with it. Their French fry poboy and muffellata were great back in the day.

If you're eating a PO-BOY, ... you are!
You DO KNOW that a Po-Boy is a New Orleans thing/creation, right? That's not something that's in dispute, so how in the hell you gonna get all upset about "city pricks" telling you about your ignorant misconceptions about "city food?"
People get their panties in a wad behind New Orleans folk putting tomatoes in Gumbo, Jambalaya, and Etoufee all the damn time, so it's more than appropriate that us "city folk" inform you "bayou folk" about po-boys.
By the way, if you've been eating what you think is a po-boy, and it's on soft hoagie/sub/hero bread ... IT'S NOT A PO-BOY ... BAW!

You don't have to be an arse
I asked if you were stupid or something because of your shitty thread asking "how is this a thing" when it is a "thing" because a french fry poboy is the original poboy.
And you didn't need to answer my question. I can tell from your responses that you indeed are stupid as are all of the people you bring it up to that have never heard of it.
