If you haven't watched the show, you should see what they do with those double-bladed sabers. It's pretty ridiculous that sabers have to get all crazy now.

Where can I watch Season 1? And how does this tie into the Clone Wars series?

The only thing we know for certain is they are all dead by the time Yoda dies.

When does Yoda die and where do jedi come from after he dies?

Eta so Luke dies before Yoda?

Don't be an idiot. Yoda tells Luke he isn't a Jedi until he faces Vader.

I love this little show.

Like the trailer too. It appears to be taking a serious turn.

Ahsoka

It has always bothered me that there is no mention of her in the movies. I'm finally making my way through Clone Wars, and her character is OK thus far. It's just that I read a book several years ago where for me she came out of nowhere and kept calling Anikan "sky guy." Ever since then I just had a poor perception of her.

I remember reading or hearing an explanation for Kylo Ren's cross saber. Apparently the crystal used to power the weapon is cracked and the imperfect crystal coupled with his limited knowledge of lightsaber engineering resulted in the cross design and "ragged" look to the blade.

waiting for as Ahsoka/Erza/and the rest of the Jedi's are completely purged by Vader. Thus earning him the rep of the Jedi killer.

Ahsoka never became a Jedi. She was accused of killing someone while she was anakins padawan but was later acquitted. She did not return to the order. Thus she has the force, knows the Jedi ways, but technically she never became a Jedi and she fights with duel Sabres.

The details of the Purge are explained in the Expanded Universe. In contrast, the movies show only Yoda and Obi-Wan as survivors while others are either killed or just not mentioned. Some think that this is what George Lucas actually intended, that according to G-canon, the actual survivors were only two, which is supported by Yoda's line to Luke "The last of the Jedi you will be." This statement seems inaccurate if other Jedi were alive as late as after Return of the Jedi, although it could simply refer to Jedi who are still following the teachings of the Order. Many of the survivors ceased to identify themselves as Jedi, despite having Jedi training, in order to exist in the changing galaxy and continue to evade the perpetrators of the Purge—so from a certain point of view, Yoda and Obi-Wan were the last of the open Jedi. Alternately, it could be that Yoda was simply unaware of other Jedi, or that the other Jedi had either already been hunted down or passed away. It is also important to note that during the events of Revenge of the Sith, Obi-Wan changes the beacon in the Jedi Temple to warn any surviving members of the Order away, thus giving them a chance to escape the Purge.

the Old Master part looks just like Darth Maul

It is Darth Maul and is not Snoke. You can tell when they enhance the image from the Rebels trailer.

They are also saying that Ezra turns to the Dark Side and becomes Snoke?!

That would piss me off and I want Snoke to be Darth Plagueis, but I read that Andy Serkis confirmed that his character is not Plagueis. Snoke could just be a new character (in Ep. VII/VIII)?

Darth Maul

Ezra as Snoke

Snoke is not Plagueis

Yes, but the hilt is a specific design. But doubles as a vent for the crystal energy.
