So will we see some more 5-Wide next year?

It takes a lot to make it work: quick decision-making, some decent protection...
but do you think after tonight, Les & company are even considering it?

#7 in the i formation all day.
I wish Cam would adapt to the times.

How some of you still believe Les will adapt is beyond me...

no , we are going to double down on two TE I formations 1 WR sets, then blame Harris when it doesn't work.

5 yards and a cloud of dust

it's possible, doubt we see it much though. 5th "wide" would be an RB like Guice motioning out, similar to what we did with Magee in '13.
Cam has some spread-ish looks, but with the rise of Buga, that stuff's been mostly reined in.

We'll be told everything is fine, if only the players would simply "execute" the offense. As if execution is simple when the defense knows what's coming.

Yes. We will be running the 5 wide Y formation.
(disclaimer: the tail of the Y is subject to personnel substitutions with half/fullbacks)

Adapt or fail. His job pretty much depends on it unfortunately due to pressure.

So Fournette not on the field?
Sources say no.

I hope not.. 5 wides and fast offenses are fun to watch but they are sure to get you beat a few times a year. OMG, if only Baylor had a defense! Problem being is that kind of offense doesn't lend itself to having a defense. History says it's outscore or else and that will lead to 1 or 2 losses per year because there will always be a game where the offense isn't clicking or the defense is good enough to stop you more than you can score...

If I have learned one thing about this coach during his tenure, it is we will not change to match up in the current game. So, my answer is no to the original question
