Actually a pretty good price. Just some new floors and clean up and it would be pretty nice.

Yep. This is what it looked like 3 years ago when sold. They could probably get 300k if it sold for 280 in 2013.

I'd like to see what that HGTV couple from Waco could do to that house.

If you've ever seen the show "Flipping Vegas" these are exactly the kind of places that he buys. Flippers would look at this place and realize that the damage is mostly cosmetic and the repairs relatively inexpensive. Depending on the current asking price this could be a goldmine for someone.

Before I sold my rent house

That is EXACTLY what the bastards renting it did to it. Rolled up all the shite in the carpet and hauled it all to the dump, blasted new paint on the walls, put down new carpet then sold it and walked away

I have a subcontractor that works in your neck of the woods on repos for me. I could send you some addresses if you think the house in the OP is bad. That ain't shite compared to what we deal with.

I recall a post of yours about finding a box of geriatric midget goat porn and various sex toys in one of your houses. Or that may be my internet search history.

A buddy of mine has rentals. He was telling me about the things he saw and a couple days later called me out to one.

Decent family neighborhood. $250k houses. Looked as bad or worse inside as the one in the OP.

Stacks of Mountain Dew boxes.

There is a house here in Lake Charles that literally makes my guys puke when we just pull up to it. They have to wear masks and put Vicks rub under their nose. It's covered in cat shite and the freezer and fridge are covered in maggots and rotten food. The bank is letting it rot like that for going on a year now. I will have to do a thread one day with some photos of some of the shite we come across.

A contractor of mine in NY found a weed growing operation in a repo a few weeks back.

The smell was the worst thing. Guy had gotten hauled off to jail but the sheriff didn't think about the 8 cats left in my house with no food. The cats start getting diarrhea as they starve and squirt liquid cat shite all over the house. The. They got real desperate and clawed holes in the sheet rock everywhere. Since the pos was in jail and couldn't pay his electric bill they killed the power so everything in the fridge rotted as well. I never fracked the door, just shot deck screws all around so it couldn't open and hauled it to the dump.

Horrible stuff.
