Which state do you think has a higher percentage of men that are good cooks?

Not just grilling, because anyone with a dick should be able to perfectly grill anything dropped in front of them.

I'd put Louisiana up there as #1..

Gumbo
Sauce Piquante
Jambalaya/Pastalaya

What can you guys do other than punching numbers on a microwave and boiling water?

I actually agree with this.

We keep the hoes in the kitchen around here.

Wisonsin has some decent cooks. Nebraska too.

I think a disproportionate amount of Louisiana men know how to cook for very large groups.

Not a lot of home cooks can bust out 600lbs of food while crushing a case of beer.

My last decent sized meal was Christmas eve.

15 gallons of chicken and sausage gravy over veggie pasta.

Think pastalaya but you fry the noodles in the chicken and sausage fat before removing and cooking the veg in the resulting "roux".

In the tri parish area, the women don't cook.

They smoke and get leg tats. They also get really fat.

Easily Louisiana, hands down.

They don't know how to do anything other than grill everywhere else.

Some people aren't counting chilis, stews, and chowders, which is the North's version of all these southern dishes people are listing.

same is true for guys. But in my friend group, the guys seem to do most of the cooking. There are a few wives that cook but mostly its the husband.

My wife is such a bad cook, she fricks up heating up leftovers.

eta: a few months ago, she ruined a trader joe's frozen meal. I don't know how she did that.
