I have a friend that lives there and does pretty well. What area did you go to?

If you had ever hunted the old Hartz seed farm you would have a different opinion of Stuttgart. It is owned by Monsanto now and it is top notch timber hunting.
Very true. Excellent track of flooded timber just south of Stuttgart. I know some of the guys who guide out there. Every now and then we would hear that Monsanto was considering selling the duck club. Guess they've continued to hold onto it.

Stuttgart is the most overrated duck hunting destination in America
this, this is the truth. Been there four of the past 5 years and yes there are some mallard to be shot but we kill way more ducks down here.

I always say arkansas is where "dreams go to die" mainly because everyone thinks you show up and scout for thirty minutes and kill birds. I got plenty of green this year on public land but had to scout two full days to find them before I ever loaded a gun. Put in the time and you will kill some birds.
