Lady Tigers got run out of the gym by Bama who was picked to finish last and started 4 underclassmen. No hustle, no effort. No offense, no defense. Funny that her old UCLA team is in top 25 and LSU is on steep decline.

It will be the biggest joke ever if she is retained after this season. Turned the ball over 25 times. This was only Bama, there are a lot more talented teams left in the SEC. If this was brutal, we have a lot worse coming....

She needs to go. She has been terrible. We could have hired somebody for much less money and still gotten better results.

Nikki is the most over-paid coach in America. It was moronic to pay her that much. She is horrendous.

The players aren't good. I knew it was doomed in the 1st Q when Rina Hill jumpshots was a big factor in our scoring. She can't keep that up for even a half. My only hope left for the season is that Constance Quinn scores a basket.

The majority of LSU fans probably care less about women's basketball.... I wouldn't put them in the top 5 of LSU sports.

Has a decent class coming in and with injuries and Ballard leaving this was shaping up to be a down year.
As far as I'm concerned I don't want Alleva making any more hires for LSU. Let the new AD tackle that. Alleva has done enough behind the scenes to piss off a lot of coaches both assistant and head.

Its apparent there is a steady decline.
Year 1 23-11
Year 2 22-12
Year 3 21-13
Year 4 17-14
We are currently 6-8 about to go into the roughest part of the schedule. The final record will be quite ugly this year.
The issue is, recruiting has not gotten better at all, only worse. Every other game, someone is suspended. Every year we have players transferring, that is a MAJOR red flag. Without doubt the worst player management I have ever seen.
Yes she had injuries, but Moncrief is the only SEC caliber player on this team. No offense to her, but she struggled badly when she was the only one relied on. I have seen some of the practices and the transfers aren't bad but won't be miracle workers next season I can assure you.
Personally, I think its time to just move on. I don't see the point of digging the program into a deeper hole. Alleva gives me zero confidence he can fix some of these issues with our athletic programs. I don't fault Alleva for the hire or throwing big money for what appeared to be a 'good hire'. It didn't pan out, so just move on.
