MM's 10 Bold Predictions

As part of McNamara's retirement tour he dropped 10 Bold Predictions on his last day on twitter.
10. Travis Schlenk will be the next GM of the New Orleans Pelicans
9. Eric Gordon will be on (another) playoff team this year and will hit a major shot that swings a series.
8. Jaylen Brown will be the biggest bust of the 2016 NBA draft.
7. Jrue Holiday will get a $100+ million dollar contract in 2017.... from the Pelicans.
6. There will be a new CBA before the Pelicans win a playoff series.
5. The next trade will happen the week of Jan 17th and will involve Tyreke Evans and Alexis Ajinca. Best educated guess - Tyreke and Ajinca to Sacto for Rondo and some combination of McLemore, Belinelli, and WCS. Maybe a pick swap option
4. Anthony Davis will win more playoff series in New Orleans than Chris Paul did, but will not reach the WC Finals in a Pels jersey.
3. The Pelicans will use their first round pick in the 2016 draft on Furkan Korkmaz
2. Ryan Anderson will eventually be shipped (sadly) to Orlando for Channing Frye and picks/assets
1. Monty Williams will be the next Head Coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves and will eventually reach the NBA Finals.
I find #10 and #5 the most interesting.
#10 implies Demps will get fired and replaced by the assistant GM for the Warriors. That actually seems like a reasonable course of action considering the circumstances
#5 is interesting because MM has been trade machining Tyreke for over a year and can never find a team he thinks would want him enough. Apparently "sources" told him where to look:
I wonder if Karl might think Tyreke could help him run Boogie out of town since Coup Attempt 1 failed.

@shelbywmccarty @Philtherhythm I was surprised too but Karl likes him

He is really hyping up his "retirement" as if people GAF. I give him 5 months before he is back seeking more attention.

a one of those guesses are particularly optimistic
he sure has gone negative on this team and front office, for good reason I guess. maybe they'll get lucky...

If they do this, I'm done. For fricks sake. Team does NOT need more expensive oft-injured players.

Willing to bet you any amount of money that I won't be back. I mean, you should do it since you know me so well.
And, either way I can't win. If I just leave, people will say I quit because the team is bad and I'm a moody quitter. Heck, some have already said that even though I said I was leaving before the season started, before this all happened.
That is one thing I have undoubtedly learned - someone will always find a way to turn anything negative and conclude something about a person they have never met.
So, for those so confident I will be back because I "love attention" or whatever else you wanna make up. Put your money where your mouth is. I need some free cash!

Or, you know, you could just be a regular person and continue to post on this message board like the rest of us. There's no need to retire from message board posting.
You're also easy to get a rise out of. Don't let people messing with you rile you up so much.

I do things 100 percent or not at all. There is literally nothing in my life I do just sometimes. So, it is easier for me to cut something off fully.
As for people "getting a rise" out of me. Yeah, maybe that is a fair critique, but I highly doubt anybody is immune to wanting to defend themselves when false allegations are made about them. Easy to tell someone to let it go, but I doubt many do in real life.
To each their own.

And while I absolutely hate Rondo, that Sac trade would be too good to be true.

And every time Cheesy Beaver posts anything.... well, nobody knows because nobody cares about his opinion.

And half the posts in this thread are throwing attention rather than responding to some interesting points.
For example, is Golden State the new tree NBA teams will start picking from? Yeah they're the defending champs, but their original plan was to build around CP3 and Tyson Chandler, not Steph. They got lucky that CP3 didn't want to go to GS and that Curry got over his ankle problems and became a living cheat code.
Still they drafted well and should be able to get on the same page with Gentry and Erman.

A fricking message board? What do you when you eat cheerios? Orgasm?
Seriously dude I like you. I like your work.
We are posting on here about a game where men bounce a ball around. This ain't rocket surgery. Just post once in awhile and give us your thoughts. It doesn't have to be "insider" or any other such nonsense. Just be a fan on here.
And do what you just did to Cheesy in the future. When they frick, laugh and frick back.
