Agree. When you look back at the greatest moments in LSU history, Jim has been in attendance and called more than anyone else in more than 100 years of LSU sports. Lots of kids who think they're cute when they criticize him, but no one on this board will ever contribute as much to LSU as Jim did.

True story...My cousin worked in the athletic department at the time of the Blue Grass Miracle. Apparently Jim went through a bout of depression after that game and had a very difficult time moving on from it.

I grew up listening to Jim Ferguson on the radio so to me he is the voice I remember most and enjoyed the most. Hawthorne was good too and will be missed.

Yes he does, and that will be his final call at LSU. Blair will be starting with baseball this year, then football and basketball next year.
