IMO Texas high school football players tend to be more developed and as such have less upside at the next level than players in other states do. This is part of the reason Texas college teams can both quickly get good and also have an artificial ceiling on how far they can really go.

They sure spend a lot of money supplying football talent for non-Texas colleges to win championships.

This is the other power in the Tulsa Area Jenks.

I think they are both better than Skelly Stadium (Reynolds Stadium now)

Ehh. You're going to get bigger, faster, and stronger 18 years old +. You can't deny that. There is some tremendous physical improvement going on from 18-22.

I meant relative to other states.

I'm not articulating it as well as I would like, but I think it's a double edged sword for Texas universities.

Coppell is a one high school school district in one of the most affluent suburbs in DFW. They highly value all things educational and never turn down a bond. It's not just athletics either. The whole school is outstanding

No doubt. What caught me off guard was that Coppell is just a random Dallas suburb and not known as a football powerhouse. It just surprised me that a average program would have a practice facility like that.

Crazy high property taxes can pay for crazy toys though.
