Or do I just use Community Coffee and make my own K-Cups (or CC K-cups themselves)
I did get a box of Junior Mints hot chocolate. Sounds pretty good.

Those can be very refreshing.

If you have to use a Keurig, your best bet is to make your own K-Cups with coffee you like.
I understand the ease of use if you are on the go, but do yourself a favor and buy a cheap french press and use it when you have the time.

keurig makes a terrible cup of coffee. I believe it's because the water doesn't sit in the coffee long enough. but, that's just my opinion.

If you like strong coffee, try Emeril's Big Easy Bold - my favorite.

Wife bought one. Made our own blend with CC coffee for about a month. It becomes a hassle to clean out the dispenser with each use. We buy a knock-off of the Donut Shop Medium Roast. I don't think its as good as CC, but i'm not paying $1.80 per cup for home usage. The knockoff brand comes out to about .80 per cup. I've actually grown to like it.

I am by no means a coffee snob but I drink the French market breakfast blend in the mornings and enjoy it.
I would suggest ordering a few of the variety packs off amazon and seeing what all you like.
They also make a lot of hot chocolates and hot ciders for it that my mom and MIL really enjoyed last Christmas.

I like our Keurig. I like dark coffees (Dark Magic by green mountain, Emeril's Big, Bold, Easy, and Starbucks Sumatra)
I find that using the coffee grounds in the little filter thing defeats the purpose of the convenience of the keurig, although I have used it before without problems. My complaint would be that I wish it would have the option to brew 20 oz or more at a time... As far as the temp, make sure the temp is set as high as possible, (192 degrees I believe). Also we use distilled water in the reservoir which helps prevent the amount of scale build up over time. I often use just run water through for the kids' hot chocolate.
Everyone is gonna have their opinions... Just my $.02

Congrats. You own a machine that not only can brew you a cup of coffee in seconds, but will trigger some of the F&D Community who don't have anything else to worry about.
I love the cups from Trader Joe's. Girlfriend bought me a pack when she was shopping there and now that's all I drink.
