I don't know if records is what to point to. Just seems like lack of competent QB play plays so big of a role. You have about five elite QBs and everybody else has at best an inconsistent guy you have to overcome at times. Who besides maybe the Jets can go on a run this year without a top QB. ETA, perhaps Denver with Osweiler and Cincinnati.

I don't care about records, but the product is tough to consume. You want to watch a full game? Better carve out 3.5 hours of your day.

They wanted parity and got much more than they bargained for... The players are like robots and the quality of play is at an all-time low IMO.... I watched last nights game and it was horrible.... The most important position on the field is the QB and after the 1st 10-15 qbs that are ant good...The rest just suck sooooo bad... Plus Rivers in San Diego is a real good QB but the rest of the team sucks... The coaching is just as bad in most cases.... And it seems like after almost ANY long play there is a penalty...... I sed to love watching it, but now I have it on just for the noise...... BUT Today they have some good games on TV in the BR market... The Panthers vs. Giants should end up being a pretty good game... And aftr that they have the Broncos[BORING] At the Steelers[EXCITING]. Yet we also have to watch the Pats vs. The Titans.... AWFUL......... They are lucking out with some of the games at the end of the season that have playoff implications. Only problem is that most of these games are with teams with losing records............

The owners have made it suck and rigged it for years ever since Al Davis sued their arse.
It's just a business and it's rigged these days to make more money and more money...and the popular teams get guaranteed playoff spots. It's a joke. Read Robert Kraft's book and he basically admits how he bought his success in the NFL.

Shitty QB play, and the refs calling roughing the passer, late hits, pass interferences every single play when they're extremely borderline turns me away from the NFL.
