How is Amazon on lost, stolen or mis-delivered packages?

UPS says it was delivered at 5:20.

USPS had already delivered a box earlier in the day, so a thief would have probably grabbed both if it was stolen. My guess is that they sent it to the wrong address, so I'm assuming it's gone for good.

Is Amazon good about quick refunds/resends on items or will it take weeks to correct?

They're usually very quick, I'm not sure about stolen stuff though.

They're good, just call and tell them it's not at your house despite it saying it was already delivered. I bought something on Monday and it still hasn't been delivered yet even with prime.

Very good. Just call and explain about the status and they'll give you a replacement free of charge. That was my experience.

Amazon is the shite. Customer service is exceptional.

If I were you, I'd contact UPS. Seems UPS screwed up. UPS will contact the delivery hub and they will also ask the driver to ensure it was delivered to the correct address. UPS (from my experience) doesn't F around, and they try to rectify things quickly.

If UPS doesn't get it figured out, contact Amazon. Either way, you will get taken care of.

Call and ask, their customer service is the best I've ever dealt with. They will likely just send you another package if your other one was lost.

Unless it wasn't some really expensive Portuguese Glass dildo, they'll likely replace it. Amazon is awesome.

Is the item small enough to fit in you mailbox and if so have you checked there?

Amazon's policy on this is good to the point that people abuse it to get free stuff. Call or use the chat support. They'll overnight a replacement.

I had one that was supposed to be here a week ago. The tracking never said it was delivered. I guess it got lost. Called Amazon and they got a replacement shipped the next day.

Pretty sure the UPS guy jacked my $1000 of camera gear a few months ago. Said delivered but wasn't there and conveniently the UPS Guy's GPS tracker wasn't working that day. Amazon refunded but dumb on their part to not require a signature for a $1000 order.

Amazon is awesome about that stuff. Call them. Don't contact UPS directly. Let Amazon deal with it. If they want/ need you to talk with UPS they will connect you with them.

Just went through this last week when UPS said the address was wrong. It wasn't.

Called Amazon.
They put me on hold and called UPS.
Once they had the dispatcher on they connected us together so we could confirm everything.

Recent Amazon anecdote:

I ordered a phone via Amazon prime on Monday that was supposed to be delivered on Wednesday. According to UPS on Thursday it was in Arizona still. I chatted with an Amazon rep who contacted UPS and said it was going to be delivered the next day and they would give me a free month of prime. An hour later UPS showed it as being in Dallas. I contacted Amazon this morning and they gave me $10 credit because it would be delayed until later today. An hour later UPS notified me the shipment was delayed, so I contacted Amazon again and they said it was going to be delayed until the 8th due to a UPS error so they gave me another month of prime and said to contact them again on the 8th if it has not shown up and they will send another one. Now, UPS shows it as being at the hub near my house hahaha So, I got about $20 worth of credit for (hopefully) only a 3 day delay.

ETA: I ordered a case for the phone at the same time, and it showed up on Thursday (1 day late). I ordered two Christmas presents on Wednesday and they showed up today.

This happened to me and I didn't wait a day. They sent me a replacement overnight. Ups should have geotracking so they'll know where it was dropped.

Amazon is awesome about this stuff. They realize that people are POS and will steal packages, so if you've ordered something from them and not a third party, and it was stolen, they'll replace it. You can call, but you don't have to. Just log onto the site and eventually find a button that says "where's my stuff" or something like that. New delivery, no questions asked.

I know this because I had several packages stolen while I was out of town.
