@anybody who's gotten their gun cerakoted in this color (KingRanch).

I'm going to get my SBEII cerakoted and redipped after this duck season. The current camo is on its last leg. Do yall find the burnt bronze to be reflective or too shiny at all? I don't want to get it done in a color that has any potential whatsoever to spook ducks.

Also, do any of yall know anyone who dips in Optifade?

IIRC I think KRs gun is a few shades darker than burnt bronze.

Check out "Midnight Bronze". Might be more what you are looking for.

As soon as I saw that battle worn AR, I will just have to have that done to one!

I do like that color a lot. I think I want something a little more brown/bronze though.

My brother in law has an ar in burnt bronze. It looks golden in the daylight, but it's not shiny or reflective. I want to get a 1911 done in the same bronze.

Im in the same boat as you BM. I want to get my Beretta cerakoted, but I keep going back and forth on colors due to fear of regret.

At first I wanted a burnt bronze, then sniper grey.

Im about to go ahead and just get it done in black

I'm definitely gonna do the burnt bronze. I'm just trying to figure out whether I should cut it with something to dull the shine.

when i ordered my rifle i went with midnight bronze. i think it turned out great. ETA: they scrapped the first stock bc it didn't match exactly. i didn't find out til i picked the gun up and they told me. i'm sure that wasn't cheap for them. i was extremely impressed with these guys and their facility.

Nice gunwerks

For everyone worried about the brightness of Burnt Bronze, you can get some black cerakote mixed in. It will be burnt bronze in sunlight but look black in the shade. Vince Buckles in Gonzales does this for those interested near BR.

From pics it appears burnt bronze turns brown in the shadows. Barking Irons does cerakote and did King Ranches gun IIRC.
